The book in my hand is "Dreams Die First" by Harold Robbins,
one of the best-selling authors of popular American novels
This novel was written in the 1970s and tells a story full of ambition, betrayal, money, lust, and moral collapse. The main character, Gareth Brennan, is a young and ambitious entrepreneur who launches a controversial magazine, but slowly gets caught up in the flashy and corrupt world of media, leading him down a dark path
