I see unctuous people at work getting promoted through flattery and smooth talk They do less, sometimes don't even do their jobs properly, yet receive greater rewards I'm not really upset with them This is how they've learned to live What disappoints me is the people in charge who are so easily swayed by flattery It's their shallow perspective and poor judgment that bother me most.
