A little memory
Before Hadiyeh and I were together,
I used to teach yoga and meditation
During my sessions
I often played a Tibetan singing bowl
Its mellifluous sound
had a way of calming the mind
Long before Hadiyeh fell in love with me
she had already fallen in love
with the sound of that singing bowl
When I realized that
I found myself playing it
with even more love
hoping that every note
would somehow carry my heart to hers. ☺️
