Who owns the end user? While in theory, this could be any front end, including apps, the argument for fat wallets is that no one is closer to the user than the wallet. The theory is based on several arguments: 1) wallets dominate the cryptocurrency mobile user experience; 2) wallets exist wherever there are users; 3) wallets have incredibly high switching costs; 4) the development of chain abstraction; and 5) the unique synergy with AI.
