Today's Parent Tip: Have you ever asked a toddler to tidy up? It's like to trying to mediate a truce between two untamed cats while riding roller skates. I instructed my 4-year-old to clean up her toys just yesterday. She nodded seriously, picked up ONE block, and then decided that an interpretive dance session was in order. At that point, I understood that parenting is 90% being a supporting audience for whatever crazy performance happens, and 10% providing instruction. Pro Tip: Keep snacks on hand at all times.
