I did not anticipate that anacarolina's work would draw me in as strongly as it has. Initially, it was primarily the texture and the red markings; however, while continuing to review the body of work, I began to see the amount of motion within each piece. Thesoundof_x/y feels somewhat like you can actually hear it. And whywhy_warmth, faith and will feels much more raw than anything else in her body of work. I think that is one reason I am so drawn to her work -- she makes you look at a single image, then at some point you find yourself back in front of it for a second time.
