Germany has been under a lot of pressure from the EU to do more about its trade surpluses, but I still think the country’s economic model has been pretty solid. They prioritize stability, and that’s something I admire. However, I do think Germany needs to become more self-sufficient in some areas—like tech and digital services—if it wants to stay ahead in the global game.
