To me the supply side pricing efforts are just PvP game. Is it because L2s earned a lot and hesitate to share the revenue with L1, or L2s themselves are not competitive and far away from PMF yet? By shifting the focus to get more L2 usage we can instead play a positive sum game.

It's also the worry of a lot of early SGX adopters. Flashbots team is building on yoctoproject.org to ship a minimized Linux image in TDX. However, the benefit of having an OS is too attractive to developers to just ship something working.

Why do you think ppl should debate on MPC vs TEE? It seems to me TEE the fancy box can just apply to MPC nodes to make it much harder to break, with just a tiny amount of overhead or cost. As such, when TEE is used as a defense-in-depth, I suppose much less staking is needed to achieve same level security.

I'd consider ZK has a long journey to optimize on performance. On the other hand, TEE has a long journey to improve its hardware design. Both are not perfect, but they are both evolving.
