I had a few days off recently and pondered something: Sometimes after a busy day, I feel exhausted but can’t pinpoint what I actually accomplished. Then I realized—I wasn’t getting things done; I was just ‘trying to look busy.’ Attended pointless meetings, replied to endless messages, handled trivial tasks... while the most important things never moved forward.
