@linea 🚨 Security alert for the crypto community:
On September 10, 2025, I claimed 32,483 LINEA tokens from the official Linea airdrop using my MetaMask wallet 0x05f340Ca1dcf7C7FbcBD4699b516B7dcAdAB9390.
Seconds after claiming, my wallet was drained by hackers who exploited a prior compromise of my wallet’s private keys. They used a sweeper bot to automatically steal all tokens—including additional ETH and other assets.
I’m taking all possible steps, including reporting to Linea and MetaMask support, and requesting migration of my farming/airdrop participation to a new secure wallet.
If you are farming from the same or related compromised wallet, beware—your funds and rewards are at risk!
Please always protect your private keys, never share your seed phrase, and consider separating wallets for farming and holding.
