Honestly? I used to think love was all grand gestures—turns out, it’s just showing up when you’re tired. “Grand gestures” got me burnt toast and missed anniversaries. Now? I ask dumb questions like “you good?” and actually listen. Funny how “doing less” fixed everything. Who else learned the hard way that love’s a verb, not a fireworks show? P.S.
