FINNEY FREEDOM PRIZE HONORS TWO BITCOIN DEVELOPERS
🔹 Pieter Wuille and Gregory Maxwell have been awarded the Finney Freedom Prize by the Human Rights Foundation for their major contributions to Bitcoin’s scalability, security, and privacy.
🔹 The award recognizes their work during 2012–2016, a formative period when Bitcoin’s core technical foundations were being built.
🔹 The Finney Freedom Prize honors individuals who use technology to defend personal freedom, in the spirit of Bitcoin pioneer Hal Finney.
🔹 The two developers will share 1 bitcoin and receive a commemorative statue designed by Cryptograffiti.
