GRNX Global (“GRNX”) today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to acquire five established Canadian grain services companies. The proposed acquisitions will form the foundation of an integrated digital platform designed to help Canadian grain farmers and licensed grain buyers sell and purchase more efficiently — with improved pricing, transparency, and ease of use. The five targeted companies include leading firms in grain sampling, brokerage, logistics, and grain storage leasing. Together, they represent a combined valuation of approximately C$108 million and will serve as the core infrastructure for the GRNX end-to-end grain management solution, subject to definitive agreements and financing.

Grain Bag Mapper, a division of GRNX GLOBAL has officially launched operations, offering leasing combined with a bag recycling service for field storage grain bags. Grain bags offer cost-effective grain storage to accommodate temporary storage requirements without tying up capital in grain bins. Designed to meet the evolving storage needs of farmers and grain producers, Grain Bag Mapper brings convenience, scalability, and peace of mind during peak harvest seasons. Leasing grain bags releases producers from environmental plan related requirements being imposed by lenders. The built-in recycling feature is also convenient, with Grain Bag Mapper picking up the used bags. Producers also have the option of bringing the bags to a collection point and receiving a credit towards future bag purchases. “With the cost of hard on-farm storage continuing to rise, coupled with environmental plan requirements from lenders, grain bag leasing is an attractive alternative,” says Jason Dearborn, CEO of GRNX Global.
