the pol.is poll results are in! thank you everyone who took the time to respond 🙏 highest consensus statements: - "Quality over quantity of users" - "Builder focus should also embrace those creating communities, businesses, DAOs." - "Neynar should embrace user feedback (good and bad)" most divisive statement: - "I'm worried that Neynar's stewardship of the protocol will negatively affect decentralization" ppl were split on whether the #1 priority should be builders, retention, or existing users/communities. as some pointed out in the replies, there's not necessarily a conflict here. personally im interpreting this to mean that we'll have to communicate how we see these things fitting together pol.is clusters ppl in to groups based on similar in-group and contrasting between-group responses. im not sure im reading this right but i think about 1/3rd of you (groups B and E) are very bullish on FC rn, another 1/3rd (grroup C) are cautiously optimistic, a few (group D) are not happy, and the rest are inbetween. all these stances are totally reasonable. im glad the survey results emphasized that there are many valid opinions here. btw this is just my own surveying and thoughts. i dont speak for neynar, that's rish's job 😆 there are fancy charts and graphs and stuff below, and you can export the data and analyze it yourself (hooray transparency) link at the bottom. if you think im misreading the results, i'd love to be corrected. https://pol.is/report/r9bxevpdbrppyhjmfhfje
