$PRO needs a plan? here you go:

- start with one core problem: new user retention
- anyone can propose a *concrete* solution to improve retention
- each proposal gets a prediction market: "conditional on this idea being enacted, D30 new user retention will be X% higher/lower"
- anyone can bet using $PRO
- enact two proposals: the top-voted and the most controversial
- refund the rest
- in 2 months, resolve the markets

This is basically what butter is doing (we’re running a big experiment with them soon). Is there anything observable onchain that is a proxy for retention?

The best example of Futarchy and what you’re talking about is MetaDAO.fi. I’ve helped them create their legal entities and participated in their presale a year and a half ago. 

I just got permission from the founders to bring that style of governance to Farcaster and am looking for a technical co-founder or at least someone to help me create a mini-app mvp in the near-term.

awesome! there are a bunch of companies playing with flavors of futarchy right now, and my higher-level idea here is that thats the area worth exploring for $PRO if it wants to make a legitimate claim to protocol governance

@mjc716 and @grin if your serious about a governance style like this, we can implement it using Futarchy. 

I need someone to help with the coding, but the structure and governance is basically there, just needs a few tweaks. I can show you how it’s been done with other DAOs.
