Oh man, when @clfx.eth and I were newly together and lived in our first place we had a full on poltergeist. We lived in a dudes house that we were watching while he was deployed, and our bed and stuff was in the basement but we had the whole house to ourselves. It started small, I would only sleep like four hours a night and constantly wake up absolutely terrified with the sheets pulled tight over my face. Sean would have sleep paralysis episodes where he would sit straight up in bed and stare at a dark corner repeating “what is that, what the fuck is that”. And then it got worse lol. It would knock shit off the walls, stand above where we were in the basement and creak the floor above us like someone was shifting their weight from left to right (mainly in the same corner that Sean would stare at during sleep paralysis), there were little handprints all over the windows and front door — we would clean them off and they would reappear, the list goes on. We eventually had to cleanse the whole house after it knocked something (that was screwed into the wall) clear off and violently swung our hanging house plants back and forth— this happened right as we were talking about the house maybe being haunted, like it was listening to us and was like “look what I can do” lol. After we burned palo santo and sprinkled Florida water in every doorway nothing ever happened again. I slept through the night fine, so did Sean, and we never heard anything else. The handprints never came back, everything was good! So scary and unexplainable though

WOAAAAH that’s so scary! There’s a spot in CO called Third Bridge and you can hear drumming there, when some people leave there’s little hand prints left all over their car even if they were the only ones out there. I think the drumming is always associated with indigenous folklore/ spirits whenever I hear about it
