1/ U.S. Global Policies and the Theories of Heartland and Rimland For the past century, U.S. global policies have revolved around Halford Mackinder’s Heartland Theory and its opposing theory, Rimland, introduced by Nicholas Spykman. Russia, in the Saudi negotiations, has demanded the annexation of all Ukrainian territories captured by Russia into the Russian Federation, even if it does not directly govern them. However, these territories must be officially recognized as part of Russia. Trump should not grant this concession to Russia so easily and should reduce Russia's dominance in the Heartland as much as possible. Let me explain further. 👇

I’m nominating myself for farcasterrpgfspring2025. When I created the /politics channel, my goal was straightforward: foster a genuine community free from the toxic discourse we often encounter on X and other social media platforms. I wanted a space for meaningful political conversations, open sharing of diverse perspectives, and authentic connections. Today, we’re over 1,000 active members strong with more than 10,000 followers—a thriving hub for thoughtful, respectful dialogue. I’ve also joined numerous calls, offering support and advice to fellow creators to help them successfully launch and develop their channels.

James Comey is either so stupid that he didn’t know what he was posting, or he’s so stupid that he knew exactly what he was posting and still went ahead with it.

Moody’s has downgraded the U.S. credit rating from AAA to AA1 — meaning not even a single agency sees the U.S. as having the highest possible credit anymore! Why? 🔹 A budget deficit nearing $2 trillion per year 🔹 Debt levels exceeding the country’s GDP 🔹 And interest rates that have skyrocketed the cost of government borrowing! Moody’s has projected that the U.S. budget deficit will hit 9% of GDP by 2035, with national debt expected to break even the World War II record by then! The Federal Reserve now has two choices: either accept that record-breaking debt or tolerate inflation above its expectations.

Israel's desperate attempts to sabotage the Iran-U.S. deal are pretty amusing.

I sincerely hope the government puts an end to this madness. Who would have imagined that a country once considered the symbol of liberalism would, in the 21st century, revoke student visas simply over support for Palestine?

The Middle Eastern countries’ thirst for continued development after years of war and sanctions has the potential to pull European countries out of recession and boost economic growth in both Europe and the US. The regime change policy in Syria, internal restructuring in Iraq, and the nuclear deal with Iran should all be viewed in this context.

"The only man who behaves sensibly is my tailor; he takes my measurements anew each time he sees me. The rest go on with their old measurements and expect me to fit them." George Bernard Shaw In brain-based studies, there's a concept called "Anchoring Bias." It means that once our brain receives the first bit of information or forms an initial impression about someone or something, that impression becomes a kind of mental anchor. After that, it's really hard for the brain to let go of it—even if new evidence contradicts the original impression.

A scientific study estimates the human cost of cutting U.S. foreign aid: over 15 years, such cuts could lead to the deaths of around 25 million people. This includes an additional 15 million deaths from AIDS, 2 million from tuberculosis, and about 8 million child deaths from various causes. And yet, total humanitarian foreign aid accounts for less than one percent of the U.S. budget.
