I think people need to understand something simple but important: Kindness doesn’t always come with an agenda. Some of us are just genuinely nice, not because we want something, but because it’s how we were raised, or how our heart works. I’ll ask you if you’ve eaten. I’ll check in and say “Are you sure you’re okay?” even after you say “I’m fine.” Not because I’m trying to get close or gain something, but because I care. And that care isn’t selective. It’s for strangers, for friends, for anyone who crosses my path. Sometimes, I feel like people misread that. Like being kind equals being clingy or wanting attention. So they start to push away or shut down, as if kindness has to come with a price tag. It doesn’t. Some of us just do it because… that’s who we are. Out of respect, morals, or pure humanity. It’s not always deeper than that. And it shouldn’t have to be🥲.

See, growth isn’t this comfortable, miraculous thing. It can get ugly, it can get confusing. It’s gritty, it’s hard. It’s difficult to confront yourself sometimes it’s difficult to be the person who does things differently, who doesn’t settle. But it’s the greatest gift you will ever give yourself. It will push you towards figuring out what your own personal version of happiness looks like and when you grow on your own terms, when you figure out what actually matters to you, and when you carve out your own path, you live on your own terms. You love on your own terms. You become the person you have always wanted to be, rather than the person you were always told to be, and that is beautiful. Because when it comes down to it, life is about making yourself proud on your own terms. It’s about finding a happiness that works for you.

You Are Not Everyone's Cup Of Tea: The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, no matter what you try, will simply not like you. But the world is also filled with those who will love you fiercely. The ones who love you they are Your People. Don't waste your finite time and heart trying to convince the people who aren't your people that you have value They will miss it completely. They wont buy what you are selling. Don't try to convince them to walk your path with you because you will only waste your time and your emotional good health. You are not for them and they are not for you. You are not their cup of tea and they are not yours. Politely wave them along and you move away as well. Seek to share your path with those who recognize and appreciate your gifts, who you are. Be who you are. You are not everyone's cup of tea and that is OK.
