By no code startups I meant startups built using no-code tools. Bubble apps and that sort of thing. The no-code tools did very well for themselves, “you can code too” is an easy pitch to sell and the current AI wave is doing the same, but no non-technical person will suddenly be able to launch a good product without hiring anyone technical

Wordpress sites are half the traffic on the internet and Shopify stores produces some crazy volume.

Arguably btw - zapier, airtable - are kind of no code companies that are successful. 

Just in time software (very Toyota) can be personal tools. Internal tools. They’ll work because they don’t have too many users. 

Production grade software has users and users come with bug reports and feature requests. Harder to vibe code that sorta thing long term (agents will help, but do you really also want the maintenance burden?)
