We should think about finding public goods funding sustainability like modern SaaS. May seem uncouth to frame donations/donors w/ metrics like cost of acquisition, customer lifetime value, & churn, but the playbook works. I believe Streaming Quadratic Funding will be the tool to unlock this model for public goods.
