How I often feel expressing my thoughts / beliefs relative to the creative world - alone. It’s tough not being a bought & paid for puppet in a hive mind virtual world of ass kissing. I’ve seen it all. I have never been surrounded by photographers “more successful” than me who came from anywhere close to as little as I have. No adversity faced. All privilege & resources therefore eternal marketing opportunities for rich kids that paints a picture of fame for all to see, for all to use as a judgment standard, but pull back the curtain & you may have unhappy, or even depressed, celebrity types who aren’t actually masters of their craft, & they know it, just have always had enough money to never fail & are masters of the facade. How do you fight a fight for the greater good in the creative field if this is your environment? The short answer is: you don’t.
