I step back and watch the harbor settle into stillness. The buildings rise in warm blocks of yellow, coral, and cream, as if they are storing sunlight. The water holds them again, softened and wavering, more memory than mirror. Boats rest low and dark, keeping the scene from drifting too far into sweetness. The reflections stretch and break gently, turning solid walls into something almost weightless. Cool blue spreads outward, calming the heat of the facades without putting it out.
