Did you know surrogacy is a 5 billion dollar industry in the US?
This explains the agency ads I’ve been getting offering to pay 250K for a surrogate of a certain education level, weight and height… 🫠
To avoid the ethical shitstorm this can evoke places like the UK have outlawed paying for surrogacy. It can only be an unpaid, almost charitable action.
There are arguments for both approaches.
Then you get to thinking about futures of artificial wombs.
