I am a firm believer in the fact that, more than the numbers on a car (the torque, HP and so on) what makes a car truly fun to drive is not just the speed it can attain, but the "illusion" of speed. 
That is not just present in most modern cars. The slight loss of control of the steering, the feeling of the car getting lighter as it approaches its limits, most cars are just too powerful for you to feel that (except on the track)  
That's what when you take out your nsx, or gs350 or acura tl, for some spirited driving, it feels more fun compared to your G80
