Onchain Without Illusions Base lowers the barrier to onchain activity. Fees are lower, transactions are fast, and the experience feels more approachable, especially inside Base App where actions are consolidated in one place. By combining social interaction, identity, and onchain actions, Base reduces friction and mental overhead. But simplicity does not equal safety. Smart contracts remain irreversible, and easier access also brings misleading projects and risky patterns. Base simplifies access, not responsibility. It works best as a convenience layer, not a safety net. Critical thinking still matters.
