OpenAI’s CFO shared updated financials, and the takeaway is clear: revenue is almost perfectly correlated with compute. In 2025, revenue surpassed $20B, up more than 3× from 2024 ($6B) and 10× since 2023 ($2B). Over the same period, compute scaled to 1.9 GW by the end of 2025: also more than 3× higher than 2024 (0.6 GW) and roughly 9.5× since 2023 (0.2 GW).
