there won’t be anything left for us but to embrace and celebrate human imperfection.
i’ll be in japan most of november and early december. probably hopeless, but i’m gonna try to brush up on some japanese to order food and have very basic friendly interactions.

Throwback from spring: my artichoke bloomed. I, unfortunately, did not.
planted today: cupressus sempervirens aka mediterranean cypress. will hopefully grow to be as tall and strong as its brothers! 💪🏼🌳
i had to add "$" to my muted word list. it really helps stay sane and see less gambling BS in the feed.
I’ve planted 11 trees today. My hands have cuts and my arms are tired. If they make it, they’ll grow to be taller than 20 m (60 ft). Some might even live for 200 years old or more. That’ll certainly outlive me. Planting trees is a marvellous thing! I hope future people will enjoy sitting under their shade. Goodnight
