Paradigm filed an amicus brief last week in United States v. Storm, advocating for jury instructions that will hold the government to its burden of proof on the mens rea needed to convict Roman Storm for money transmission violations under 18 U.S.C. § 1960. The case goes to trial on July 14 and will have a lasting impact on crypto and software development more generally.
