In workplace group chats, the usage frequency of the '👍 thumbs up' emoji is declining, while younger people prefer the '🤲 heart-shaped hands' (or folded hands/heart hands) emoji to express approval. Does this shift indicate that, in workplace social interactions, the need for emotional expression is surpassing the need for efficiency?
