Why not just set a minimum staking amount for it? 

You guys are in a good position, and have great sentiment right now 

More growth, more people that want to be part of it and more people that will get frustrated and hate if they can’t

Not having a transparant and equal way to get an allocation, especially in crypto, opens yourself up to a lot FUD and frustration. 

Also many people are staking mainly because they expect it will affect their allocation

all that’s going to happen doing it this way is that they’re going to unstake and sell out of frustration, also killing your momentum

That said the program has grown the whole network of tippers which has increased staking rewards (and every other metric too) so if you’re using Tipn at all you should be seeing more benefits

Nah it doesn’t even say you’re required to stake anything at all 

Just that you have to approve USDC and I have had the USDC approved for like 2 weeks

tldr; if you tip usdc + stake I reckon you will get an allocation on tuesday next week when we do the refresh

we're progressively iterating on allocations on a weekly basis for this season (currently on week 2 of 4)

we're relying on @quotient to help structure a criteria-based merit-focused framework focused on app uasge (e.g. usdc tipping + staking) for new allocation assignment, and then once folks have allocations looking at their allocating impact (e.g. who was tipped, did the tip recipient start using tipn etc) to determine follow-on allocations

they're going to push out a thread for this week's allocations and will continue to socialize that

Staking isn't a necessity but the diversity I think counts 
I remember last week the allocation was distributed to early users with a lot of tips given
I think it'll change in a week
