The @base.base.eth app supports @farcaster but uses @xmtp for messaging. Farcaster doesn’t support messaging via XMTP.
Then you try to onboard normies and have to explain that they can’t DM each other because they use different messaging protocols.
This space needs a hundreds of whips on our backs, it feels like we’re deliberately making the end-user experience harder.
