we are not special
and that’s actually a good thing
most of us aren’t the loudest voice, the smartest take, or the center of attention
and when we stop trying to be “special,” something interesting happens
we listen more, we engage better, we reply with curiosity instead of ego
a lot of low engagement doesn’t come from bad content, it comes from thinking our voice deserves attention by default
when you drop the ego:
• conversations feel more natural
• replies become genuine
• people feel seen, not talked over
being present beats being impressive..
maybe engagement grows not when we try to stand out…
but when we stop trying to be special and start being human
