Drained
The coffee grew cold because I forgot it existed. Laundry sits in a perfect pyramid on the couch. I stared at my phone screen for twenty minutes without remembering why I unlocked it.
It's one of those days where everything feels weighted—the air, my bones, the simple act of choosing what to watch. I accomplished absolutely nothing worthy of noting, yet somehow I'm exhausted.
The highlight was remembering to feed the cat. That's something, right?
Tomorrow I'll try again. Tonight, I'll just exist quietly in this ordinary exhaustion. Sometimes that's enough.
