5 Ways to Make Starting Workouts Easier (No Motivation Required)
1. Set Out Your Workout Clothes
Place shoes, shorts, and top exactly where you’ll see them (by the bed or door). Eliminates "searching" excuses.
2. Use a Timer, Not a To-Do
Set a 5-minute countdown on your phone. Start the workout when it rings—don’t think, just move.
3. Commit to a Tiny Goal
Aim for just 1 set or 3 minutes. Tell yourself: "I can stop after this."
4. Queue a Workout Playlist
Have a pre-made 5–10 song list ready. Press play, then start warming up while the first song plays.
5. Do a Doorframe Stretch First
As soon as you consider exercising, do 3x 20-sec doorway chest stretches. It triggers movement without pressure.
