I went to my computer and began reading about these magic internet coins known as cryptocurrencies.
As I stumbled through countless articles, I quickly became more interested in Ethereum and its smart contracts. Bitcoin was referred to as digital gold but Ethereum, to me, offered utility and potential. Things could be built on Ethereum! Contracts, processes, transactions all on chain and the risk mitigation that decentralization offered. It was a light bulb moment for me. So, when I finally decided to dive into crypto, I bought $ETH instead of $BTC.
