Depends on your goals. User A usually becomes an ambassador at the long term and if you don't need any hype, that's a nice long term goal. User B becomes a user who created a lot of hype for your product, which in some cases (seed fund round, lack of mkt budget or even short term branding) may be useful.

Personally, I'd try to go for users outside the ecosystem which I'd try to educate about my product. Probably riskier and harder but I believe that could create power users amazed by the whole ecosystem
