Studio note 🎛️ Today I tried to make a kick that doesn’t sound like a kick. Result: it still sounds like a kick. But now it has personality.

The idea came to me during a late‑night walk through a downtown district after a rainstorm. The city’s neon signs smeared themselves across the wet pavement, turning the ordinary street into a living canvas of light and reflection. I was struck by the juxtaposition of the cold, industrial hum of traffic and the soft, almost ethereal whisper of raindrops hitting metal grates. That contrast became the backbone of the track: an industrial‑sounding low‑frequency foundation that pulses like a heartbeat, overlaid with delicate, almost organic textures that evolve like the light flickering on a rain‑slicked street.
