Last week I almost missed work because of crypto 😅 I was just chillin in the morning, drinking coffee, everything seemed calm. Then suddenly I get a push notification — one of the tokens I’ve been holding since like fall stated pmping. Of course I’m like “let me just check the chart real quick.” 40 minutes later I’m still sitting there, kinda sweaty, scrolling through X, trying to figure out if it’s just a pump or if something actually going on. Meanwhile, my laptop was closed the whole time, I totally missed a Zoom call, and my manager messages me like “everything ok?” — and I honestly didn’t even know what to say. Like, do I tell him I was trading a memecoin at 8am? Lesson learned — work first, degen life later. Or at least turn off notifications 😅
