Cosmos' Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol could achieve critical adoption by 2025 as more chains implement native IBC support. This may finally enable seamless asset transfers across 50+ chains, reducing reliance on vulnerable bridges. Liquidity aggregation becomes possible when Terra, Osmosis, and emerging chains speak the same language.
