Some people think decentralization is a feature.
Base makes it feel like a memory, as if the internet once belonged to us
and we’re slowly remembering what it felt like
to touch possibility with our bare hands.
When I open the Base app,
it feels like tearing a seam in the present
and peeking into a version of the world
where we never had to ask for permission
to exist,
to create,
to try.
There is a quiet violence in that.
A reclamation.
A return.
Builders don’t need thrones.
They need access.
They need a floor to stand on,
a ceiling they can break,
and air that doesn’t choke their ambition.
BM to the chain that gives the world
back to the ones who were never meant to hold it,
yet will.
