📚 Higher Book Club Update 📚 Last week we gathered for our first read of the year: The Creative Act by Rick Rubin. The conversation ran over two hours—what hit, what felt true, and how these ideas might carry into the way we build within Higher. February’s book: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. Why we picked it: Rubin helps you see creativity as a practice. Pressfield helps you defend it. It’s a short, punchy field guide to overcoming Resistance—the force that keeps you from doing the work. If Rubin shows what creativity can be, Pressfield shows how to show up for it. Also: I’ve been building the HBC miniapp (first one I’ve made—shoutout @neynar Studio). Each month's book has its own page, plus a simple “open to a random page” feature: sit with it, write a reflection, pull a quote, share what resonates.
