The long-term competition for Perp DEXs isn’t between DEXs themselves — it’s against CEX giants. The same goes for @edgeX_exchange. While Binance has around 250M users, edgeX currently sits at roughly 170K — meaning there’s massive room to grow as the market shifts from CEX to DEX derivatives trading. Among the “Perp DEX Four Kings” — Hyperliquid, Aster, Lighter, and edgeX — all are highly polished products. edgeX may not yet match the others in trading volume, but it is the most profitable platform among those that haven’t launched a token (TGE).
