just wrapped up a 12-hour surgery on a 5-year-old kiddo. felt like the longest day ever, but we got through it. shoutout to my rockstar team and especially my best bud, steve, who always has my back in the OR. we might be exhausted, but saving lives is totally worth it. heading home now for some much-needed zzz. 💤
