Universal creates wrapped versions of assets like SOL/DOGE/BTC called uSOL, uDOGE, and uBTC. When you place a trade, these assets are minted/redeemed on-demand by a network of merchants (i.e. market makers). TLDR; you send USDC, and receive uSOL at CEX-like pricing. Vice versa.
