offered simplicity, we crave complexity.
truth is, humans get bored with - just being happy.
we're addicted to drama, mistaking chaos for excitement and uncertainty for adventure.
we'll sabotage perfectly good things just to feel that rush of something different.
like picking at a healed wound, we create problems where none exist
- not because we love pain, but because we fear the quiet of contentment.
funny how we run from the very peace we claim to seek.
perhaps it's time we learned to dance with stability instead of always chasing the next emotional storm.
