Matcha minds, help me out: When I’m not going full ceremonial, and just want a quick small matcha *latte* (oat, macadamian, or dairy—dealer’s choice), I ask for the cup to not be filled up the whole way so the milk doesn’t overpower. But sometimes it hits… starchy. Interested in thoughts to fix. 🍵

Yes, this is New Jersey. Yes, that’s legit sashimi. Scallop, sweet shrimp, mackerel, tuna, and more — garnished with shiso, and plated like they mean it. Some exciting Japanese-owned spots on the other side of the Hudson. Don't feel trapped in NYC (still great of course). Jersey’s got game too. 🐟🥢

Hey @dwr.eth — crazy idea. Team-up casts. So if @luciano and I want to go crazy and *jointly* cast some food pics, the protocol would recognize the collaboration and “credit” equally. This idea may even inspire @ponder to allow for a head-to-head unagi challenge (see our latest casts for that).

@luciano as the inspiration… Grilled unagi, torched to finish, glazed with sweet soy, topped with puffed rice and crispy seaweed. Perfect rice — kinda’ important. One of the most balanced bites I’ve had all year. Sometimes a handroll just beats the nigiri.
