Collectibles are a product that we know has demand if there’s a community or perceived status around the collectible objects People like to collect things even if they have no perceived value by the wider market

Yeah, the social component is what makes it work. Or might, we’ll see.

The best way to ensure it works is to let creators/collectors use the data 👍

What data specifically? I do think that all of the NFTs being on a single contract could proven inflexible in terms of the possibilities of what creators may want to do with them

No I have no issue with what was released. I'm saying build functions native to Farcaster which highlight this data. - Put "Top Collectors / Top Collector Of" data on user profiles for instance. - Enable community-curated feeds of the collectibles There's a ton of social signals you can glean from collectibles. Make them native.

oh yeah i agree further tooling and ways to show top collectors of specific accounts would be interesting there’s also a trending feed already in the current UI but it’s pretty hidden where you have to tap the drawer icon at the top right of the bid page for a collectible

Yeah that page is cool. But the data is way more useful when I come across a random person and can instantly see the person’s alignment. Ooh, “Alice” is the top collector of “Bob”, no wonder she’s taking his side in this argument. Or whatever.
