When Alex and I first moved in together, the exhilaration took precedence over talking about housework. At first, we took care of things as they came up, but eventually, things became frustrating because I usually cleaned and Alex cooked. We talked and felt overburdened after a heated argument about dishes. To better divide responsibility, we subsequently developed a list of tasks.
