Our hospital has fluffy staff members who don’t administer IVs but heal just as well as medicine. They nap in the hallways like they own the place (because they do) and—most importantly—bring smiles to kids who miss home. These cats rule the place: they walk all over paperwork, inspect the cleanliness of the wards, and make sure no one stays sad. And you know what? They’re amazing at it.

My cat Mouse is convinced that our country house plot is her personal domain. She gracefully strolls between the garden beds, checks if there are any "bird conspirators" hiding in the bushes, and majestically accepts "tribute" in the form of pets and treats. Total freedom, humans at her service. Honestly, it's unclear who owns whom here!
