Any fellow nounsfolk remember the pre-internet meme, “batteries not included”? Think about all the anti-climactic purchases made, driving sales to battery companies. And yet, the disclaimer became a cultural phenomenon. Anything with “batteries included” was a delight. Noggles not included. Makes you think.
